DETECTO’s DP series digital precision balance scales have a round 5-pin connector port located on the left side of the scale display that may be used to send weight and associated data to a printer or other RS232 device using an included 6.6 ft (2 m) cable with a DB-9 female connector. The port can be configured to send data continuously, send when a stable weight is obtained, or when the PRINT key is pressed.
